Description | The Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service has prepared a draft Greater Cambridge Sustainable Design and Construction Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for public participation. The purpose of the SPD is to assist with the implementation of policies related to climate change, sustainable design and construction and wider environmental policies contained within the adopted 2018 Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire Local Plans. A 10-week consultation period runs from Monday 15 July 2019 to 5pm Monday 23 September, during which comments can be made. The responses received will be considered by the Council before finalising the SPD for adoption. |

The draft Greater Cambridge Sustainable Design and Construction SPD was approved for consultation at South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Cabinet on the 1 July and Cambridge City Council’s Planning and Transport Scrutiny Committee on the 25 June.
The consultation runs from 9am on Monday 15 July to 5pm on Monday 23 September 2019.
